Course Description: Halloween and… Reformation Day come every fall. Halloween reminds us of evil and death. Its historic roots in the occult remind us of Satan who comes to “kill, steal and destroy.” The Reformation reminds us of the opposite, of the One who came to give us abundant life, blessing, prosperity, hope and peace. October 31, 2017 was the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation that impacted almost every area of life: theology, education, civil government, church life, and the family. What principles can we learn from a proper understanding of the Protestant Reformation, and how can we apply these principles so that we can further the cause of revival and reformation in our generation?
